Tom Hoferer Announced as Unison President
Cincinnati, Ohio, September 12, 2017 — Unison Industries announces Tom Hoferer as Unison President and CEO to replace former President, Giovanni Spitale. Hoferer brings extensive commercial experience and exceptional skills in driving a customer centric culture to his new role with Unison.
Hoferer has had a wealth of supply chain, program management, services, and product support experience during his 25-year tenure in the industry. His former experience with GE Aviation includes roles in Business Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Business Operations, Marketing, as well as other direct customer-facing commercial roles.
Hoferer’s recent role as the Commercial Programs and Services Support leader for GE Aviation’s Business and General Aviation (BGA) segment gave him extensive global leadership and customer focus experience. In his role, Hoferer established a new BGA product support team that grew to 29 global service and support resources and 38 GE authorized service centers. He also led his team to rank #1 in Product Support survey by Aviation International News (AIN) from 2015 to date.
